Gineen is a specialist in public relations and employee communications with expertise in event management, media planning and social media management. After working over a decade for Fortune 500 companies, she switched to the fast lane of an agency – and we’re glad she did. She brings an unparalleled knowledge of B2B and B2C communication and marketing to MMI, having worked on numerous successful events, media relations programs and advertising campaigns for major brands in the entertainment and consumer goods industries. Gineen is skilled at building brand awareness, providing strategic counsel on critical issues, and creating consumer-facing campaigns. She is a problem solver who serves as the first point of contact for several MMI clients, including Kroger, NC CEO Forum and Riley Contracting.
Prior to joining MMI, Gineen served as a media monitoring analyst for Bank of America, a global leader in corporate and investment banking and wealth management. Gineen also previously served as the marketing communications manager at Stanley, Black & Decker Inc., where she managed the internal and external public relations and media activities for Black & Decker, Porter-Cable, and Bostitch brands. Prior to that, she implemented strategic media campaigns for Discovery Communications, a global media company reaching 3 billion subscribers in 220 countries.
Gineen earned her Bachelor of Arts in mass communications from North Carolina Central University, in Durham, North Carolina, and her Master of Arts in strategic communication from American University, in Washington, D.C.
