Harrison College (http://www.harrison.edu/), an institution of higher learning with more than 5,000 students studying at 14 campuses and online, has announced that Neil Stanley, regional president of corporate partnerships, recently recorded a podcast discussing the comprehensive International Classification of Disease Tenth Revision (ICD-10) training curriculum designed to equip physicians, coders and other medical staff with the tools necessary to successfully transition from Ninth Revision (ICD-9) to ICD-10, effective Oct. 1, 2014. In the podcast, Stanley briefly explains the difference between the ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems as well as what needs be done now to be prepared for the ICD-10 mandate requirements for 2014.
