RALEIGH, N.C. – Stewart Consulting Group, a consulting firm that works with CEOs and senior management teams to assist in maximizing human capital efficiency, has announced that Willy Stewart, president and CEO of the firm, will present “Building a High Performance Company” at NC State University’s annual Design Your Own Continuing Education Experience at McKimmon Conference & Training Center on Friday, Dec. 9 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. As one of 16 speakers at the two-day program offered by the NCSU Office of Professional Development, Stewart will discuss the characteristics of a high performance company, which include the concept of creating a business culture that values balance in people’s lives and effective management systems essential to the development of a great company, such as the concept of behavior and its application in recruiting and managing top performers, effective training techniques, the creation of a motivational environment and how to win work using the five-step sales process. The presentation will occur for a select audience of professional engineers, architects and contractors.
“To transition your organization into a great company instead of just good, you must display effective leadership, with a strategic and clear vision in place, supported by high performing teams that are highly disciplined and motivated,” said Stewart. “I look forward to sharing with attendees at NC State how they can take the best asset they have – their own people – and instill within them a passion for excellence to become a high performance company.”
