Sepi Asefnia Named SBA North Carolina Small Business Person Of The Year
RALEIGH, N.C. – Sepi Asefnia, president of SEPI Engineering Group, has been named 2006 North Carolina Small Business Person of the Year by the United States Small Business Administration (SBA). Awarded annually, this designation recognizes a small business owner in each state who exemplifies the entrepreneurial spirit and honors their individual contributions to the community. Asefnia will represent North Carolina at National Small Business Week in Washington, D.C., April 12 and 13. During the celebration, a National Small Business Person of the Year will be selected. Since 1963, the National Small Business Week has recognized outstanding small business owners for their personal achievements and contributions to our nation’s economy.
“It is a tremendous honor to be selected as North Carolina’s Small Business Person of the Year and to represent all of the amazing small business owners in the state,” said Asefnia. “Small businesses fuel our state’s economy and provide valuable jobs and tax revenue.
