The environmentally-friendly project is aiming for USGBC LEED Gold Certification and will be built on a previously developed site using the principals of deconstruction and reuse of materials to protect the Neuse River Basin and surrounding habitat. The building is designed to achieve a small carbon footprint, to be highly energy efficient and to conserve water in an eco-friendly controlled environment.
