Melanie Davis-Jones, vice president of marketing and sales at Exploris, has announced that the museum will host the traveling exhibit, The Enemy Within: Terror in America, 1776 to Today, from August 26 through November 26. This exhibit, which provides a historical perspective on contemporary issues of homeland security and civil liberties, was created by the International Spy Museum in Washington D.C.
Daniel’s Restaurant, formerly known as Daniel’s Pizza Pasta Cafe, a family operated, casual dining restaurant located on Highway 55 in Apex, has been voted the “Best Place For Pizza” in western Wake County by the residents of Cary, Apex, Morrisville, Holly Springs, and Fuquay-Varina in The Cary News’ yearly “Best of the West” poll.
Dr. Stephen Scott, president of Wake Technical Community College, has announced that the organization has broken ground on Phase One of its 401 North Campus project, which will include site development, infrastructure and building construction on the 125-acre site. When the site opens, Wake Tech will become only the second multi-campus community college in the state.
