100,000 Arizonans View Vietnam Wall Experience At Mariposa Gardens

PHOENIX – Mariposa Gardens, a new cremation cemetery in Mesa, Arizona, hosted the Vietnam Wall Experience for four days from Veterans Day, November 11 through Sunday, November 14, 1999. This traveling 240-foot replica of the Memorial was displayed on the grounds of the newly opened Mariposa Gardens in Mesa, Arizona and was hosted by a variety of volunteers, including active duty and retired military personnel, members of veterans organizations, civic and citizens groups, along with the Mariposa staff.
