Exploris Museum 9/11 Commemoration

Now known as Marbles, Exploris was a 74,000-sq. ft. interactive museum consisting of the exhibit halls that opened in 1999, a charter middle school that first opened in 1997 and the IMAX Theatre that opened in 2001.  Exploris was located in downtown Raleigh at the corner of Blount and Hargett Streets.  Changing exhibits, daily programs, and special events ensured there was always something new at Exploris.
