Imagine running 4 miles in downtown Raleigh on a cold February morning. Then think about stopping halfway through the race and eating a dozen Krispy Kreme doughnuts as fast as you can. And picture about 6,000 people doing this with you. All in less than an hour.
Clearly this race cannot be good for your digestive system. But somehow the Krispy Kreme Challenge has become a favorite race among Triangle residents. It’s a physical challenge for a good cause – all money raised benefits the North Carolina Children’s Hospital.
