Have You Tried Out TriOut?
by Kate Catlin on 04/29/2010
The MMI PR team has launched a social media contest for a local restaurant. It is centered around location-based applications and we’re pretty excited about it. There is free food, a chance to win an iPad – all kinds of fun.
As we created the competition, we reached out to three location-based applications to let them know our plan, and to confirm we could use their logos. It was through that effort that we were able to sit down with Lawrence Ingraham and Wayne Sutton to discuss TriOut. They ran us through how it works, what makes it unique, and the analytics available to businesses on TriOut.
We really enjoyed the conversation about how TriOut is not just a place for people with smart phones, it’s actually a place you can go to find out more about the community that surrounds a specific location in the Triangle. The analytics that TriOut will soon provide to businesses are incredible.
I know this seems like a commercial for TriOut, but I really just want to encourage you to check it out. Our team was so appreciative of the time that Lawrence and Wayne shared, and the input they had on how we could work together. They have a great thing going and they’re working to grow it. That’s what this community is all about, right? Supporting one another in our efforts to grow and make the Triangle the best possible place in which to live, work and play.
