Account Executive
Want to join a constantly growing and successful company that ranks among the top 10 percent of all PR firms nationally and among the top four in the Triangle? While we do not currently have any account executive positions open, we are always looking for qualified applicants.
Account executives for MMI work full time as primary point persons for high- to mid-level accounts. Responsibilities include:
- Client relations
- Media relations
- Public relations
- Account management
- Account strategy
- Oversight of client-related projects handled internally by staff writers, interns and new media specialists.
AEs contribute to video production, podcasting and client-related media outreach campaigns at MMI as well.
Ideal candidates will have professional PR experience (at least one to two years preferred) and a bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications or related field. MMI seeks applicants who are confident, able to multitask, show attention to detail and possess a competitive spirit while at the same time are respectful and friendly to other team members. Strong verbal and written communications skills are essential, as is the ability to function well with team members on large projects.

Fall 2013 Internships
Want hands-on, practical business experience in:

Video Intern
In addition, MMI Public Relations is seeking a Video Intern for the fall 2013 semester. Responsibilities will include: on set assistance, editing and distribution of videos. The Video Intern will be assisting the Video Specialist the with process of preproduction, as well as actually filming and editing video.
Minimum requirements:
- Experience shooting, editing and distributing videos online
- Deep working knowledge of Final Cut Pro 7
- Creative mind
